Hi ,
I'm using a customer program to bulk change operations and routing details .One of the new requirements that came up was to add ability to change standard value 6 and unit through this program . The BAPI i'm using is 'BAPI_ES_ROUTING_CHANGE'..
But the problem now is that when i try to change standard value 6 for a routing that doesn't even have standard value 6 activated, the BAPI still gives a success message. And the change on standard value is even logged in CA61 .
The BAPI giving a success mesage for a supposed-to-be-failed updation, and wrong event log in CA61 is not desired .
Please suggest how these issues can be fixed?
PS: since the program is a age old one and there are many functionalities integrated to it over time , changing the BAPI as such wont be feasible .
