Consume REST SERVICE IN SMP 2.3

hi all,

I have tried using http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/xml?address=1600+Amphitheatre+Parkway,+Mountain+View,+CA&sensor=false web service as endpoint in SMP 2.3. Its giving me error while testing it in REST CLIENT as follows:

500 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <error ><message xml:lang="en">Error occurred while connecting to the GatewayConnection to http://maps.googleapis.com refused</message> </error>

Can anyone help me solving this error??
