Classic and embedded version are very different, to support both you need a lot of experience in both versions.
if you want to support technically then most important thing would be BW, I would suggest to understand BW first. (should be enough to support classic) and if you want to do embedded, then also do the Integrated Planning and learn FOX.
next step is to go through all BPC 10.1 materials, for classic and embedded.
If you have alot of BADIs then you need ABAP OO.
and if you going to use HANA then it will be good to do ABAP for HANA.
with a year experience only in BPC then I think you will only be able to support BPC functional side.
