Time-dependent navigational attributes will display the data that is effective as of the query key date.  The query key date can only be a single calendar day, defaulting to current day unless it's explicitly set to a variable or constant.  You will not be able to show the change of positions over time using a navigational attribute, nor will the value of the navigational attribute change based on the time characteristics in the report drill-down.

In order to show the position as of the from and to dates in the query drilldown you would need to load the position as a characteristic in the cube rather than a navigational attribute.
