As for his issue. Rge Database Vendor Code errors are being passed from the database client, through the report engine, totally unmodified. E.g.; all the engine knows is that something went wrong on the db client. Looking up the error number in the database documentation is one place to start. Googling the error is another possible way to go. I googled the error and it appears to relate to some minor changes to the database that are often resolved by simply verifying the database in the CR designer (File | Report Options):
