Are you creating a new personnel number on the new payroll area and creating IT 0065 on new perner with YTD values from old one.
"The reason we did not follow the terminate and rehire approach as it leads to one day of unemployment/inactive status for the employee, which we do not want" - Not sure if this is due to the concurrent employment in which I don't have exposure.
We do not have a concurrent employment and we terminated old perner and hire new one , Issue p45 for old one and transfer those figures to new one. Work wells for us
