Creation of Model with Parent and Child relationship

Hi All - Can you please help me with code snippet on how to create a parent and child relationship. like Salesorder header and item. SalesOrderHeader --> SalesOrderitem This Model works if that data is coming from backend. If we are creating order from the APP. I would like to know how to  create Such Model. Helpful Answers would appreciated and rewarded. Thanks Ram
