I have the same problem finding no solution up to now.
My tries to create a XS application have found a barrier in this error:
Most of the docs describe how to create XS application on trial landscape but I am not working on such landscape but US-East. SAP HANA shared is the only db available.
Most directions tell how to set up "Database Systems" but none of them are available on such account.
