Without wanting to get into an argument as it rarely achieves anything productive, my question is, in fact, about the exact issue.
The OP says "using a application which uses Crystal 2008 SP3 run time package for reports".
And when the report is displayed, "while we were exporting report we used to get a pop up".
That is the EXACT issue I am talking about here. When the OP runs the report, it displays in the CR Viewer, although not explicitly stated in those words. No mention in his post about using "Compiled Reports".
And the other poster Scott Pearce is also asking about the identical issue too - "The VB6 crystal reports viewer used to allow "Export to Disk" *and* "Export to Application". The .NET viewer does not, it only exports to disk."
He understood what the OP is asking, namely that the viewer functionality has been reduced in this area.
I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that the OP is talking about an SDK for .Net.
My question remains - the CR Viewer (like the OP is talking about) needs to have the functionality which was previously available.
Can you provide a link to this SDK for VS .Net you refer to?
