We are encountering an issue with Transaction FD32 where we are try to change the Credit Account. Upon clicking "Save", the system runs for ever before giving a time out error and the change never gets saved. we realized that, this could be be due to the large volume of data on the customer account that we are trying to make the change. Business never had any customer with so much data and apparently this is the first time, they had this issue.
I went through several forums previously addressed here related to this issue. I also went through several SAP notes (705317,99937, 2057405) that talks about this program RFDKLI20. But going through the program documentation, this looks to me like a step which we do after the Credit Account assignment is already established. And i did not come across any option within the program itself, where i can change the Credit Account.
Is there a note that addresses this issue? Has anyone in the group experienced something like this? At this point of time, i have exhausted my search ans really appreciate any help and direction on this.
Here is the steps i used.
FD32 - enter the customer and Credit control area
Click on Change Credit account
Enter the new Credit Account number
Click on Save
