I am not very clear about your scenario. But from the error msg, are you trying to split the synchronous message to different receivers. This is not allowed in PI. Receiver split is permitted only for asynchronous msgs.

Instead can handle the conditions in Receiver determination and select the appropriate receiver (thus the appropriate communication channel).
